CARF Factory Concept Tool
Innovation for the building industry:
LuArtX IT presents the new CARF Factory Concept Tool
At last there is a suitable solution for the rapid creation of concepts and therefore for consistent planning. No more PowerPoint files and confusing paperwork. LuArtX IT GmbH provides the answer with its newly developed CARF Factory Concept Tool.
Our new, innovative tool uses DGN files. These files are used for all further planning steps throughout the construction process. This ensures consistency from initial placement up to the completion of your project. The CARF Factory Concept Tool provides our customers with a transparent overview of the project process.
Maximum flexibility and transparency
Particularly useful is the integration of our own standards as well as the integration of digital CAD guidelines (env), e.g. from VW, Audi, BMW and Mercedes. Adding all components via CARF can now also be done in a breeze.
Further additions from Audi, VW, BMW etc. can also be easily imported into the tool at any time. This means that the user can always call up the current components.
The system also offers a search function. A free text search can be carried in the library. Each component has certain information. This information can be supplemented individually at any time.
The legend function enables all components to be displayed in the form of a parts list. This feature provides a good overview.
With the CARF Factory Concept Tool, a bill of quantities for a calculation in Excel can readily be made. The advantage is plain to see: This enables users to quickly create layouts including a list of all component information such as weight, size, prices, cycle times, capacity utilization, article number, etc. This creates a transparent overview for the project.
The CARF Concept Tool makes it easy to further process placed components parametrically in the next step. CARF modules can also be used to fill your own cell library, for example with the parametric components of the conveyor system.
Convincing and versatile overall package
The range of components in the new CARF Factory Concept Tool will amaze you. More than 5,000 cells from production, logistics, office space planning and many other areas are available in the cell library. These include:
- Robots, including tools
- Shelves
- Trailers
- Machinery
- Tables
- Cabinets
The interface of the new tool offers the following functions: Search functions, folder functions and navigation, placement of cells, a CARF info button, the legend function and a bill of quantities.
Using the search function, 3 different search terms can be entered to filter the content. It is also possible to narrow down the search in the library using different options.
With the folder function, the user can create a structure tree (navigation) for his projects in order to easily and quickly navigate through cell library.
The “Place cell” dialogue is used to insert the cell into the drawing using various options. For example, predefined reference points can be used when inserting objects. Additionally, a planning height (Z coordinate) can be preset.
The CARF info button displays the CARF object information. Entries can be changed or added here and listed later in the bill of quantities.
With the new CARF “Factory Concept Tool”, the placement of components in the floor plan is easier than ever before. Processing with DGN data guarantees consistency from start to completion. Since the latest components from the automotive industry are readily available, our users are always up to date. This avoids errors and ensures an efficient workflow between layouter and designer.
