The BCF format (BIM Collaboration Format) is used to edit assigned issues and is available in many software products (cross-platform).

The direct editing in CARF offers the advantage that the position in the CAD model, as well as the viewing direction/camera, is applied directly in MicroStation and any CARF objects involved are highlighted.

Any comments can be added to an issue. Each comment in turn can have its own context, image (snapshot) and graphical data.
