  • New RAS catalog in the electrical module
  • Much more

More information about the new features:

A lot has happened in one year. There have been improvements and additions to almost every part of CARF, starting with the 1-mouse-click strategy, which allows for faster processing with fewer mouse clicks.
The left mouse click strategy has been further perfected. In addition, further functions have been added directly for further planning in order to reach the goal even faster.

The TGA BIM Navigator has been further optimized and is a very good addition across all areas of CAD model creation. In order to get new components (pipe components or boilers, etc.) more easily and quickly, VDI 3805 has been integrated with the first sheets. The user can implement components directly from the manufacturer without having to create them himself. This is also possible for radiators. Radiators can also be designed directly in the interface, whereby the performance for the room can be taken from the room macro.

In general, intensive work was done on the interfaces
and so beyond the VDI3805 the interfaces for: Collision evaluation, BFC interface, Isogen or also IFC improved.

For the assignment of the cost centers the DIN276 was integrated for integrated for all TGA modules.

The calculation interfaces to Solar have been extensively
revised and adapted to the current release versions of Solar.

Extensive changes have also been made in the Qualitool to improve the quality of all data.
improve the quality of all data. It is now possible to delete duplicate elements, to display hidden elements, to select checking elements and to visualize all this via a structure tree, to name just a few examples.

The topic of district heating has also been increasingly discussed by our
recently also increasingly discussed by our politicians. Here there is a new pipe material from the company ISO+ where e.g. two pipelines are installed in one insulation. For this purpose, a new parametric catalog and placement functions have been built in CARF.

Another newly built catalog are the RAS (smoke
Intake Systems) in the Electrical module. By continuously taking air samples, the air is analyzed for smoke particles for early fire detection. This can now be planned in CARF.

The Couplings topic has also been heavily revised. Now
couplings can be placed automatically in the downstream. It is also possible to split lines in the downstream with couplings incl. coupling gap.  In addition, the material change function has been extended to include the coupling functionality. Thus, materials without couplings can be changed into materials with couplings and vice versa.

In the area of factory planning, there has been an extensive
revision of the conveyor technology and stage technology. For this, as well as for the other topics, you can find more information in the release notes in the download portal.
